Today’s snowfall came as a surprise flurry around 9:00 which quickly increased!By the time I got to the park there was at least an inch down, and more falling!
I love hiking when it is snowing; it lays a great silence on the world which makes for a tranquil and invigorating experience.
Every pine branch along the trail carried a little but growing burden of snow that I found fascinating to look at close up.Uphill, as the snow gets deeper.The pinnacle at the south end of the bluff … contrast this to the same view in the previous post!
That’s about all for today; it’s still snowing now, hours later. It looks like 3 or 4 inches so far.
