Camel Bluff again, on a snowy day

Really, just a few pictures taken this morning.

Today’s snowfall came as a surprise flurry around 9:00 which quickly increased!
By the time I got to the park there was at least an inch down, and more falling!

I love hiking when it is snowing; it lays a great silence on the world which makes for a tranquil and invigorating experience.

Every pine branch along the trail carried a little but growing burden of snow that I found fascinating to look at close up.
Uphill, as the snow gets deeper.
The pinnacle at the south end of the bluff … contrast this to the same view in the previous post!

That’s about all for today; it’s still snowing now, hours later. It looks like 3 or 4 inches so far.

Radio? Soon! Thanks for visiting!
